There’s honesty, and then there’s Sierra Ferrell sitting across from John Mayer on SiriusXM’s How’s Life basically laying bare the tug-of-war every artist faces between art, business, and personal sanity.  In the interview, Sierra revealed she’s already written half of her next album—despite telling herself she was supposed to be taking the month off. Rest doesn’t come easy when the industry has wired you to think lying down means you’re being “worthless.” Country grit meets glitter glam. Pop powerhouse Kesha and masked country crooner Orville Peck have teamed up on a brand-new track called “Tennessee” for the upcoming charity compilation All Things Go: 10 Years. The record drops November 7 with all proceeds benefiting The Ally Coalition, an organization supporting LGBTQ+ youth.  The single, produced with Hudson Mohawke and Tayla Parx, first appeared in the award-winning short film Stud Country. Now it’s ready for fans everywhere. When you’re having the kind of year Shaboozey is having, why stop at topping charts? The breakout hitmaker just announced his next big move—launching his own label, American Dogwood, in partnership with EMPIRE.  And he’s not wasting any time. The label’s first signing is Nashville-based rising star Kevin Powers, who already co-wrote Shaboozey and Jelly Roll’s 2025 hit “Amen.” The two are kicking things off together with a collab called “Move On,” dropping September 19. It’s officially CMA season, and the nominees for the 59th Annual CMA Awards just dropped. The show will air live on ABC, November 19, and you can bet the biggest names in country will be front and center waiting to see who takes home the gold.  |
