Le BBC Camp est un évènement organisé par l’association Alras, qui propose un weekend de musique bluegrass et oldtime à Barcelone. On peut participer à des stages, des ateliers de musique d’ensemble, des jams endiablées et des concerts.
Le BBC Camp nous a habitués à accueillir de prestigieux artistes pour animer ses stages de musiques bluegrass et oldtime. Et l’édition 2023, qui aura lieu les 3 et 4 mars, est exceptionnelle, voici ses professeurs:
Le dimanche 5 mars, il y aura un concert à ne pas manquer: celui de John Reischman, accompagné de Chris Luquette, Raphaël Maillet, Lluis Gomez et Maribel Rivero.
Al Ras est une association basée à Barcelone et qui est dédiée à la promotion des musiques Bluegrass et Old-Time. Pour ce faire, elle organise un festival (en novembre), un stage d’une journée (en mars), des jamsrégulières et elle aide les musiciens lorsqu’ils viennent à Barcelone.
Elle a également un nouveau projet, Bluegrass Kids, qui consiste à faire découvrir cette musique aux enfants et collabore avec l’EBMA, l’association européenne de bluegrass.
Pour mener à bien tous ces projets, Al Ras a besoin de contributions. N’hésitez pas les aider et à les encourager, vous pouvez le faire avec seulement 1€ par mois, via la plateforme Teaming.
Une autre façon de les soutenir est d’acheter un ticket pour leur tombola. Cette année, vous pouvez acheter un billet en ligne , où que vous soyez dans le monde, pour la tombola annuelle du festival Al Ras (qui se tiendra du 3 au 6 novembre 2022). Les billets coûtent 5 euros (ou dollars) pièce, et vous pouvez les acheter en envoyant un paiement paypal au compte: alrasfestival@gmail.com.
Le gagnant remporte un abonnement d’un an au programme ArtistWorks. ArtistWorks est une plateforme d’enseignement innovante qui permet d’étudier l’instrument de son choix avec des maîtres du Bluegrass.

Superbe ambiance au BBC Camp de Barcelone ! L’édition 2019 fut une réussite, avec des stagiaires dont le niveau s’améliore d’année en année et une atmosphère enjouée qui a ravi participants, professeurs et spectateurs.
La première soirée était consacrée au concert des professeurs (Jake Schepps, Lluís Gómez, David Prat, Miguel Talavera, Josep Traver, Oriol Saña, Mitch Depew, Maribel Rivero, Joan Pau Cumellas, Jesper Rübner-Petersen, Jean Marie Redon & Sharon Lombardi)
