From Tanya Tucker to Brandi Carlile to Jamey Johnson, artists who step into his studio don’t just make a record—they walk out changed. Now, it’s Jake Owen’s turn.  Country grit meets glitter glam. Pop powerhouse Kesha and masked country crooner Orville Peck have teamed up on a brand-new track called “Tennessee” for the upcoming charity compilation All Things Go: 10 Years. The record drops November 7 with all proceeds benefiting The Ally Coalition, an organization supporting LGBTQ+ youth.  The single, produced with Hudson Mohawke and Tayla Parx, first appeared in the award-winning short film Stud Country. Now it’s ready for fans everywhere. Okay y’all, get ready for some goosebumps.  Phil Vassar, the piano man behind some of the most iconic country hits of the last two decades, is back with one of the most personal songs of his career — and it hits different. The new single, “I Don’t Know What It Means,” arrives Friday, August 22, and it’s not just another radio-friendly tune. This one was born out of something far deeper — a literal brush with death. Okay, this is not a drill: HARDY is heading back to the dirt roads and duck blinds with a full-blown return to country music, and y’all… he’s doing it in camo.  After dabbling in the rock world (and earning some serious metalhead cred with QUIT!!), the Mississippi-born hitmaker is trading distortion for dobro on his newly announced album COUNTRY! COUNTRY!, set to drop September 26 via Big Loud Records. |
