If you have ever seen Keith Urban live, you already know this record was inevitable. Today, the four-time GRAMMY Award winner officially released HIGH AND A(LIVE), his first full-length live album, and it captures exactly why his concerts hit the way they do.  Yesterday videos went around where people screen-recorded country sensation Jake Owen as he had an emotional « crash out » on his Instagram story. What followed was the most love-filled outpouring of fan and peer support, in the comments and through linked videos. Jake has since shared a statement addressing his outburst, which iHeart Country has covered extensively here.  If your holiday season hasn’t officially started yet, it will tonight. CMA Country Christmas is back on ABC with a brand new special that promises cozy vibes, stunning performances, and that warm glow only country music can deliver.  Every once in a while the country music world gets hit with a story none of us ever want to read, and this is one of them. While the incident occurred weeks ago, news broke yesterday that Parker McCollum’s former guitar tech, who had since moved up to a stage manager role, was arrested on disturbing online child solicitation charges. As awful as the details are, Parker’s response was immediate and clear: the man was fired on the spot and removed from the touring operation the moment the accusations surfaced.  |
