A star-studded tribute to Tammy Wynette is coming to PBS this Friday. Great Performances – Tammy Wynette: Forever Yours premieres October 23, 2026, at 9 p.m. Eastern / 8 p.m. Central, with streaming on PBS.org and the PBS app. Recorded in March at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, the concert brings together artists from across country, roots and rock to revisit Wynette’s music. Georgette Jones, Wynette’s daughter with George Jones, introduces the special. Greylan James will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday, October 24, 2026, adding another milestone ahead of his self-titled debut album’s November 13 release through Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. Florida Georgia Line once had a remarkably efficient answer for anyone trying to figure out what they were selling. In a 2014 interview with Matt Schichter, asked to sum up the duo in one word, the answer was: « Party. Period. » Well. That was certainly a mission statement. Now Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are on the official Tortuga 2027 lineup, putting Florida Georgia Line back into the festival conversation. Before we decide what a return should sound like, it’s worth revisiting how they talked about themselves when the whole machine was gathering speed. Bella Lam is putting a country spin on holiday engagement season with « Slow As Christmas, » arriving Friday, November 6, 2026. The new single follows someone waiting for a very particular gift: a proposal. Lam co-wrote the song with Kayliann Lowe and Bill DiLuigi. Lowell Reynolds produced the recording at Blackbird Studio, with session leader Justin Ostrander and fiddle player Jenee Fleenor among the musicians involved. |
