In a surprising turn of events, Ford Motor Company has decided to backtrack on its plans to eliminate AM radio from newer model vehicles.  The company’s decision comes in response to mounting pressure from Congress and the introduction of a bill advocating for the inclusion of AM radio in all new vehicles, proposed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). This move showcases the power of public opinion and the vital role AM radio continues to play in our daily lives. In a social media post, rockin country artist Morgan Wade made a major (for her) announcement that makes us wanna rewrite the classic Hank Jr tune into « A Country Gal Can Survive ».  On Facebook, Morgan posted: « I’ll go in depth later, but I was diagnosed with the #rad51d gene a while back. In November I’ll undergo a double mastectomy as a preventative.
