Drew Parker is stepping boldly into his next chapter with some help from one of Christian music’s most celebrated voices.  The country singer-songwriter has released a new version of his fan-favorite song “Blame Jesus” featuring Steven Curtis Chapman. The collaboration officially impacts Christian radio today. Every once in a while someone sends me a tip that ends up becoming the highlight of my week. My colleague Brandy has developed a reputation for introducing me to artists before the rest of the world catches on, so when she told me to give Oklahoma singer-songwriter Logan Mac a listen, I didn’t waste much time. I’m glad I didn’t.  After spending some time with his music, one thing became crystal clear. Logan Mac is exactly what I’ve come to expect from Oklahoma artists. Honest songs. Real stories. No unnecessary polish. Just beautifully written music that punches you square in the chest and somehow leaves you grateful for it. At first glance, Garth Brooks only announced a couple of arena dates. That’s the headline. I don’t think it’s the story. I think the tour announcement is just one move in a much bigger plan. If there’s one thing Garth has taught us over the past 35 years, it’s that he rarely makes one career decision without already thinking three steps ahead.  Music Mogul Clive Davis has died at the age of 94. Responsible for propelling the careers of country legends like Carrie Underwood, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson and so many more, Clive was known as « The Man With The Golden Ear ».
