When you’re having the kind of year Shaboozey is having, why stop at topping charts? The breakout hitmaker just announced his next big move—launching his own label, American Dogwood, in partnership with EMPIRE.  And he’s not wasting any time. The label’s first signing is Nashville-based rising star Kevin Powers, who already co-wrote Shaboozey and Jelly Roll’s 2025 hit “Amen.” The two are kicking things off together with a collab called “Move On,” dropping September 19. Shaboozey has officially made history on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, securing his place among country’s most dominant chart-toppers. His crossover smash “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” just notched its 35th consecutive week at No. 1, surpassing Sam Hunt’s “Body Like a Back Road” to become the longest-leading country No. 1 by a solo act since the chart was established in 1958.  Though he went home empty-handed, Shaboozey had a heckuva night at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 2), where he performed a medley of his hits alongside the other best new artist nominees. After a successful summer of breaking chart records with « A Bar Song(Tipsy) », Shaboozey is ready to see if that translates into lasting success with the release of his new single « Good News » from his « Where I Am Is Not Where I’m Going » album. |
