Every once in a while the country music world gets hit with a story none of us ever want to read, and this is one of them. While the incident occurred weeks ago, news broke yesterday that Parker McCollum’s former guitar tech, who had since moved up to a stage manager role, was arrested on disturbing online child solicitation charges. As awful as the details are, Parker’s response was immediate and clear: the man was fired on the spot and removed from the touring operation the moment the accusations surfaced.
