While the incident occurred weeks ago, news broke yesterday that Parker McCollum’s former guitar tech, who had since moved up to a stage manager role, was arrested on disturbing online child solicitation charges. As awful as the details are, Parker’s response was immediate and clear: the man was fired on the spot and removed from the touring operation the moment the accusations surfaced.
