Steve Martin, que l’on a vu récemment dans le film La Panthère Rose (février 2009), est un banjoïste passionné. C’est un acteur extrêmement connu aux Etats-Unis. Pourtant, chaque fois qu’il est invité pour un show télévisé, il préfère mettre en avant son activité musicale.

Il a sorti l’an passé un album avec ses compositions : The Crow. C’est un album très acclamé.

The Bunch

Fondé en 1980 par Pat Winther, Membre de la CMA Nashville, TN – USA depuis 1986. Chant et guitare rythmique. Lead vocal harmonica accordeon.

Après avoir été chanteur de rock avec les Satellites en 1960 (devenus Les Champions en 1961), il accompagne Vince Taylor et Gene Vincent. En 1963, il fonde alors les Sounders qui passent régulièrement au Golf Drouot ; 1965, première partie des Animals et des Moody Blues. Il arrive ensuite à la Country Music : ainsi plusieurs saisons a la Vallée des Peaux-Rouges se jouent avec l’orchestre Les Enfants de Saloon, et en 1980, Pat Winther fonde The Bunch, en réunissant la formation actuelle du groupe.

En Stetson, chemises country et siantiags, les musiciens du BUNCH ne soignent pas seulement les arrangements et leur interprétation musicale, mais également le look qui fait de leur spectacle un véritable show.

  • Cet orchestre franco-américain vous transportera de Nashville à Dallas dans l’ambiance des « Honky tonks » made in USA. Il a été sélectionné par la Country Music Association (CMA Nashville, TN – USA).
  • Ces sept musiciens, s’épanouissent dans des styles diversifiés : New Country, Western Swing, Bluegrass, Cajun, Country Rock, Truckers style, Ballades, Rock’n Roll …
  • Leurs instruments : pedal-steel guitar, guitares, banjo, violon, harmonica, dobro, mandoline, accordéon, clavier, basse, batterie.
