Avant-Première du film Alabama Monroe (Broken Circle Breakdown) – 17 juin 2013 – Paris

Alabama Monroe Broken Circle BreakdownLe cinéma Max Linder propose une avant-première d’ALABAMA MONROE (titre original : BROKEN CIRCLE BREAKDOWN), le nouveau film du réalisateur belge Felix Van Groeningen (La Merditude des Choses) . Une histoire d’amour tragique entre un joueur de banjo et une tatoueuse, sur fond de bluegrass. Ce film a remporté un grand succès en Belgique et aux Pays-Bas et il sortira en France le 28.08.2013.

La projection en avant-première aura lieu le lundi 17 juin 2013 à 20:00 et sera suivie du concert du Broken Circle Breakdown Bluegrass Band, le groupe qui joue dans le film et qui en a signé la superbe bande originale. À ne pas manquer!

Rencontre Bluegrass confirmée – Ris Orangis (91) samedi 22 juin 2013

La MJC de Ris-Orangis organise une rencontre bluegrass le 22 juin 2013.

L’événement commence à partir de 16h, avec une jam bluegrass, suivie d’une exposition de banjos préparée et commentée par Hervé Tuel.

Les concerts débuteront à 20h30. En première partie, plusieurs groupes se succèderont: Abdoumen, Pierre-Claude Artus, Sarah & the White Mountain Band et Springfield. La deuxième partie est consacrée au groupe Nashville Airplane.

Tarifs du concert : adhérents : 3 €, non adhérents : 5 €.

Jimmy Buffett, chanteur et auteur-compositeur, est devenu une légende populaire aux USA. Il a enregistré plus de 40 albums, dont la plupart ont été disques d’or ou de platine. Cheeseburger in Paradise, Come Mondayou encore Son of A Son Of A Sailor font partis de ses plus grands succès. Ses tournées aux Etats-Unis constituent un rite estival annuel pour sa légion de fans.

Jimmy retournera très prochainement en studio pour enregistrer un nouvel album, provisoirement intitulé Songs From St Somewhere. L’été dernier, un nouveau CD/DVD Welcome To Fin City a été enregistré à l’occasion de deux concerts donnés à Las Vegas. Ces deux CD/DVD contiennent chacun 14 titres et 15 vidéos incluant le bonus inédit Elvis Presley Blues. Retrouvez également sur Itunes une vidéo live de Jimmy Buffett en duo avec Lionel Richie, interprétant All Night Long en 2012 au Comerica Park à Detroit.
