The ACADEMY OF COUNTY MUSIC has revealed an additional slate of performers for its 58th ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS show, happening THURSDAY (5/11) in FRISCO, TX. New to the lineup are CARLY PEARCE, HARDY, ED SHEERAN, TRISHA YEARWOOD, HARDY, and more.  Independent powerhouse Drew Baldridge today announced the upcoming release of his new song “Can She Have This Dance” (via Patoka Records) out Friday, May 12, to kick off Mother’s Day weekend. Written by Baldridge alongside Adam Craig and Jordan Walker, the song was produced by Nick Schwarz. “Can She Have This Dance” chronicles a mother-son dance at a wedding. Pre-save the song HERE.  It’s been nearly two decades since the cult classic album “Soul Gravy” hit fans right between the eyes for the first time. Originally recorded by Cross Canadian Ragweed, one of the greatest touring bands of all time, the album made its way onto the Billboard Country Albums Chart in 2004 and scored a couple of hit music videos on CMT including the single “Sick And Tired” featuring Lee Ann Womack.  Music has always been a medium that brings people together, whether it’s through shared experiences, feelings or memories.
