Stage de banjo avec Jean-Marie Redon – 28 juillet 2018 – Espagne

Un stage de banjo animé par Jean-Marie Redon sera proposé à l’occasion de la deuxième édition du festival espagnol de bluegrass Nofugrass Fest. Il aura lieu à Nofuentes et sera suivi de jam sessions ouvertes à tous dans les divers bars du village.

Date et horaire :
Samedi 28 juillet 2018 de 10.00 à 13.00.

Lieu:
Hotel Rural La VENTILLA (Nofuentes – Espagne)

Tarif:
50 euros par personne.
Les inscriptions doivent être confirmées et payées avant le 30 juin 2018.

Si le minimum d’inscrits n’est pas atteint, le stage sera annulé et les stagiaires seront intégralement remboursés.

Stage de banjo en Belgique – 2-7 avril 2018

Cette année encore, Lluis Gomez sera le professeur de banjo pour le 33e Stage International de Musique Acoustique de Virton. Les inscriptions ouvrent le 01.01.2018 à 00.00. N’attendez pas pour vous inscrire, car les amateurs de ce stage d’une excellente qualité sont nombreux. En effet, plusieurs ateliers instrumentaux et vocaux sont proposés et tous animés par des musiciens et professeurs reconnus. Il y a aussi un atelier rythme et des ateliers interclasses où les stagiaires pratiquent la musique en groupe. Sans parler des concerts et jam sessions. En bref, c’est une semaine d’immersion musicale dans la joie et la bonne humeur.

Coup de projecteur sur un banjoïste 4 cordes: Eric Cousin

Nous connaissons Eric Cousin pour son expertise en bluegrass, aussi bien au banjo 5 cordes qu’à la mandoline et à la guitare.
Nous profitons de la sortie du nouveau disque du groupe Uli’s New Orléans Jazz Band pour rappeler l’excellence d’Eric au banjo 4 cordes.

L’Uli’s New Orléans Jazz Band est une formation germano-franco-anglo-suisse, qui s’est spécialisée dans le vieux jazz de la Nouvelle Orléans, depuis plus de 30 ans.
Elle est composée de:
Uli Winterhager Batterie
Eric Cousin Banjo, Guitare, vocal
Martin Hess Contrebasse
Robert Merian Clarinette, Saxophones
John Service Trombone, vocal.
On peut les entendre en concert de 20h à 22h, tous les troisièmes mercredis de chaque mois, sauf en août, à Freiburg en Allemagne à l’Hôtel Restaurant Schwarzwalder Hof (Herrenstraße 43, 79098 Freiburg im Breisgau, Allemagne).
Leur nouveau CD a été enregistré en live le 21 Juin 2017 dans cet hôtel. C’est du jazz Nouvelle Orléans de très grande qualité, à écouter sans modération.
On peut se le procurer chez Eric Cousin.
La formation se produit également, en concert, fêtes diverses, (privées ou entreprises) festivals etc.
Un nouveau site internet est actuellement en cours, il sera prêt pour Février 2018.

Duo Redon-Lombardi au Nofugrass Festival – Nofuentes (Espagne) 29 juillet 2017

Un tout nouveau festival de bluegrass vient de voir le jour à Nofuentes (Castilla y León, Espagne), non loin du pays basque espagnol.
